Regina Ilyinichna Spektor (Russian: Реги́нa Ильи́нична Спе́ктор), born February 18, 1980 in Moscow, Soviet Union. Is an unbelievably talented singer-songwriter and pianist. Her music is associated with the anti-folk scene centered in New York City's East Village. [link]

Yes, I find it sometimes difficult to get eyes to capture a spark of life. It isn't my favorite portrait of Regina Spektor. I have another almost completed which captures a little more life.

The best thing in your portraits is that you draw textures so touchable. The hair and the lips are the best in this.

I thought she looked familiar. I love listening to her music. I like how you were able to make the hair stand out against the shirt even though they are essentially the same color.
