Frank - Henry Fonda

Once Upon a Time in the West the 1968 Italian epic Spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Leone - arguably the best Western Movie? In my top ten definitely. Henry Fonda plays the ruthless 'Gun for hire' Frank. Frank epitomises the villain in Westerns and Henry Fonda is superb in the role, both menacing and sinister. In the film as famous for the soundtrack and haunting harmonica tune, Charles Bronson plays Fonda's nemesis the harmonica man, a role for which Clint Eastwood had been originally cast but had turned down.
